Beautiful concert and very successful album launch for COMPOST

It was a great night of music at Shoreditch Church along with with beautiful visual art.

Excellent sets of improvised music from Javier Carmona, Alex Ward, Benedict Taylor & Daniel Thompson all accompanied by the live creation of visual works by Julie Pickard.

The night was a perfect setting for kicking off the album from Taylor/Ward/Thompson - COMPOST, released last night on CRAM (to be on up on Bandcamp soon...).

Along with all this, the icing on the cake was the fabulous crowd the turned out to the church to hear this concert, braving the cold night (to find that Shoreditch Church is VERY WELL HEATED - NICE & WARM).

Thanks to all for the music, art and company!

CRAM Record No.1 Album Launch - COMPOST - Thompson/Ward/Taylor

It's very exciting to mark the beginning of 2013 with the first release on CRAM.

The album COMPOST by Daniel Thompson, Alex Ward & Benedict Taylor will release on the 17th Jan 2013, at Shoreditch Church - where it was recorded. The occasion is marked with a concert from the trio, joined by special guest Javier Carmona (percussion), flying in from spain. This proves to be a wild concert from some of the leading young players throughout the London improvised music scene.

In addition, in the spirit of artistic collaboration which is the driving force behind CRAM, the musicians will be joined by the fabulous visual artist Julie Pickard who will be drawing live and exhibiting/showing her work during the evening.

Don't miss this exciting evening of music and art.
